15 minute running time. Scripts were written by Robert Arthur, Jr. and David Kogan, who were also responsible for The Mysterious Traveler. The stories were recycled versions of the more popular episodes of that parent program.
The Sealed Book also derived its stories from Mysterious Traveler, but were not condensed into 15-minute episodes. Dr. Weird replayed mostly supernatural thrillers, while murder mysteries were reserved for the full-length format The Sealed Book.
